About Assumption - Catholic Tradition

Fr. Emmanuel d'Alzon
Founder of the Assumptionists

... Until Christ Be Formed in You

Father Emmanuel d'Alzon's most cherished project was the establishment of a Catholic university-Assumption College. He envisioned an institution committed to the pursuit of truth and academic excellence wherein faith and reason give witness to the unity of all truth. He sought to develop the whole person and wanted students to grow in the knowledge of their human condition as well as their ultimate destiny. The Assumptionists, the religious order founded by Father d'Alzon, continue to guide Assumption College today.
