Student-Athlete Achievements
  • 95% Assumption’s Academic Success Rate, which refers to the graduate rate of student-athletes. This make Assumption #7 in the nation among all Division II colleges.
  • One of 26 Schools awarded the Division II Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence (out of 300 Division II member schools)
  • 235 Number of student-athletes named to the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the 2012 Fall semester, the second highest total in the NorthEast-10 conference
  • 10 Number of semesters in a row the Women’s Swimming and Diving team has earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Honors.
  • 10 Members of the Field Hockey team were named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association’s National Academic Squad.
  • 4Number of Assumption athletic teams that have earned the Notheast-10 Team Academic Award, given to the team in each league sport with the highest overall team GPA each academic year. The teams that were recognized are Men’s Basketball, Ice Hockey, Women’s Indoor Track and Field and Women’s Track and Field.
  • 16 The number of Assumption College student-athletes who have earned NCAA Postgraduate scholarships: the most in the Northeast-10 Conference, 8th in all of Division II and among the top 10 of all NCAA programs in New England along with schools like Harvard, MIT and Boston College.
